Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Irán: No hay negociaciones con EE. UU., pero hay intercambio de información

Golden Finance reports that on April 1, local time March 31, Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Araghchi stated that the current situation is “not negotiations,” but rather an exchange of information through direct channels or “regional friends.” Iran is still receiving messages from the U.S. side, via Representative Witkoff, but this does not mean that negotiations have been initiated; the relevant communications are mainly “warnings or exchanges of views.” He pointed out that Iran is currently not holding negotiations with any specific party, and that the information-exchange work is carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with security institutions and, under the supervision of the government and the Supreme National Security Council, strictly advanced within official frameworks. Araghchi emphasized that Iran has not responded to any of the 15 proposals made by the United States, nor has it put forward any proposals or conditions. The Iranian side has not yet made a final decision on the principles of negotiations, but the conditions for Iran to end the war are “very clear”: Iran “will not agree to a ceasefire,” but instead demands “a complete end to the war throughout the entire region.”
