【AI+排行榜】American venture capital firm: One in every adult worldwide uses ChatGPT weekly; Gemini website visits rank second

Venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) partner Olivia Moore released the sixth edition of the “Top 100 Generative AI Consumer Applications” list, ranking the top 50 web and mobile AI applications.

The web version shows that OpenAI’s ChatGPT remains in first place, while Google’s (NASDAQ: GOOGL) Gemini has risen to second. Domestic large model DeepSeek has dropped two places from last year in the web ranking, now in fourth.

On the mobile application list, ChatGPT also holds the top spot, with ByteDance’s short video editing app CapCut climbing to second.

ChatGPT exceeds 900 million weekly active users, used by over 10% of the global population

Moore pointed out that over the past year, ChatGPT’s weekly active users have reached 900 million, meaning more than 10% of the world’s population uses ChatGPT weekly. Data shows that ChatGPT’s monthly traffic on the web is 2.7 times that of the second-ranked Gemini, and its monthly active users on mobile are 2.5 times Gemini’s. However, about 20% of ChatGPT users also use Gemini.

OpenClaw developer recruited by OpenAI or launching an easier version

In addition to ChatGPT, Moore specifically mentioned the highly anticipated open-source AI agent project OpenClaw. Moore said that while ChatGPT made consumers realize that AI can speak, OpenClaw makes people realize that AI can act.

However, OpenClaw is still mainly aimed at technical users. Moore noted that it requires terminal knowledge for setup and maintenance. The developer of the product joined OpenAI in February 2026, which may indicate that a more user-friendly version of OpenClaw is imminent.
