The Shennan High-Speed Railway Yunfu Prefabricated Beam Yard officially commenced operations and began production, and the Shennan High-Speed Railway Section 3 bid project has fully entered the superstructure construction phase.

The Shennan High-Speed Railway line is 142 kilometers long, with an expected construction period of 4 years. After the project is completed, the travel time from Nanning to Shenzhen will be shortened from the current 3.5 hours to 2.5 hours, accelerating the flow of resources and factors between the two regions and fostering coordinated industrial integration.

During this holiday period, in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, an important energy infrastructure project in the national “14th Five-Year Plan and beyond” power planning—Phase 8 expansion project of two 1-million-kilowatt units at the Guoneng Jianbi Power Plant—is being pushed forward at a faster pace. Reporters who were on site saw construction personnel carrying out pile foundation work in the smokestack-tower area and the main plant area. The total investment of the expansion project exceeds 7.2 billion yuan, and it uses clean and efficient coal-fired power generation technology, which can save a large amount of coal resources every year.

Wang Chenhui, Director of the Development Department of the State Grid Zhenjiang Power Supply Company, said that after the expansion project comes into operation, it will add about 10 billion kilowatt-hours of annual electricity generation, which can meet the annual electricity demand of over 3 million households.
