Financial Information of the People, April 5 — According to Shanxi Economic Daily, recently, the 1750ESP production line of Jin Steel Holding Group officially started operation, marking that the hydrogen metallurgy and new silicon steel materials project with a total investment of 14.8 billion yuan and an annual output of 2 million tons has entered the substantive construction stage. The plan is to complete in 18 months a full-process system covering an intelligent raw material yard, hydrogen-rich smelting, refining and rolling, and waste heat power generation. Its three most breakthrough world-class innovations are as follows: First, the world’s first thin-plate headless continuous casting and rolling integrated high-performance silicon steel production line: it enables seamless connection from molten steel to finished coil, significantly shortening the production process while improving product accuracy and stability. Second, the world’s first high-silicon (Si 3.2%) silicon steel and carbon steel mixed production line: developed jointly with Andritz of Austria to overcome the industry technical bottlenecks of producing different material types on a single production line. Third, an Industry 4.0 intelligent production line for the entire steel-making process: developed together with Purit and Siemens to realize the routine operation of a “black light factory,” setting a new global benchmark for intelligent manufacturing in the steel industry.
