Previously, China Food News received consumer reports about the beef tripe sold by internet celebrity Lu Ha. Behind the seemingly convenient ready-to-eat thousand-layer tripe product, which has nearly ten million followers online, is a disturbing processing environment. Operators smoked freely during steaming and boiling, the beef tripe was cooled on damaged epoxy resin floors and shoveled away, and the rehydration process allegedly involved the illegal use of hydrogen peroxide.
