Trump asks Israel to refrain from attacking Iran Netanyahu scales back the attack

On June 24, U.S. President Donald Trump called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and asked him to refrain from any attack on Iran altogether. Netanyahu told Trump that he could not cancel the attack and needed some kind of response to Iran's violation of the ceasefire. Eventually, (Israel) decided to drastically scale back the attack and cancel the attack on a large number of targets.
