Golden Finance report, April 27th, citing a diplomatic source from Al Jazeera, said that recent developments have acted as a catalyst, reinforcing the view that the (United States and Iran) need to permanently end hostilities. Islamabad sources said that all parties are gradually approaching a framework that will provide context for reaching an agreement, not only involving Iran and the United States but essentially also including Gulf countries. Several Gulf countries stated that the current situation necessitates their inclusion in any final resolution, as they do not want a repeat of the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), when they felt excluded. Therefore, all these developments seem to be moving towards reaching an agreement. Pakistan still holds hope for a second round of talks, although details remain unclear, diplomatic efforts are ongoing. (East News Agency)
