Bagheri said in an interview with the media that Iran engaged in the first round of negotiations with the US in good faith and with a serious attitude, but the US showed a cold attitude, lacked sincerity, and their stance was also inconsistent. He stated that Iran has made it clear that if going to Islamabad, Pakistan, to participate in negotiations aligns with national interests, they will participate, but no decision has been made yet. Bagheri said that the US blockade of Iranian ports is an act of aggression, and shooting at and seizing Iranian commercial ships is not behavior expected from a country genuinely committed to serious diplomatic progress.
