Amazon this week issued a total of $54 billion in bonds in the U.S. and euro markets, attracting a frenzy of investor demand. Specifically, Amazon issued $37 billion in bonds across 11 maturities in the United States, with subscription orders from asset management institutions reaching as high as $126 billion, approaching a record high. On Wednesday, the company also issued bonds for the first time in the euro market, with a scale of €14.5 billion ( approximately $16.8 billion ), setting the record for the largest corporate bond issuance in the euro market history.
