People’s Financial News, April 8th — Zhongheng Electric (002364) announced on April 8th that the company’s controlling shareholder, Zhongheng Technology Investment, along with shareholders Zhu Guoding and Bao Xiaoru, plans to introduce CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited) to invest in Zhongheng Technology Investment (hereinafter referred to as “proposed capital increase”). Each party will leverage their core competitiveness and resource advantages in relevant fields to promote strategic cooperation and related business development between CATL and Zhongheng Electric around green ICT infrastructure, transportation electrification, and new power systems (computing and electricity collaboration), integrating resource endowments and empowering the company’s growth. CATL intends to subscribe to 14.41M yuan of newly registered capital in Zhongheng Technology Investment with an investment of 4.1 billion yuan, using cash and equity as the contribution methods. After the proposed capital increase, the controlling shareholder and actual controller of Zhongheng Technology Investment will remain unchanged, still being Zhu Guoding. This transaction involves a change in the equity structure of Zhongheng Technology Investment, the controlling shareholder and actual controller of the company will not change.
