This month, a total of 62 project investment and financing events were disclosed, nearly the same as last month.

In addition, the top three projects by financing amount are on-chain prediction market Kalshi ($1 billion), the decentralized prediction platform Polymarket ($600 million), and listed mining company Eightco Holdings ($125 million). Among them, Kalshi and Polymarket both belong to the prediction market track, with combined funding of $1.6 billion, accounting for 64.3% of the total disclosed amount for the month; prediction markets have become the strongest single narrative of the month.

It is worth noting that if the 125M&A events that occurred this month are included in the statistics (involving an amount of about $1.86B, mainly the $1.8 billion acquisition of BVNK by Mastercard), the broad total crypto market financing amount in March is about $4.28B. M&A contributes more than 40%, and the trend of traditional institutions accelerating integration in the crypto track is especially prominent this month.

In addition, Coinbase Ventures, Animoca Brands, and Big Brain Holdings are tied for the most active investors in March, and each disclosed 4 investments.

According to RootData’s data-building plan, this month there are still some financing events whose amounts could not be included in the statistics. The payments track project Tazapay completed a B1 round of financing, and the infrastructure project Pharos Network also disclosed that it received financing, but neither has publicly disclosed the specific financing amounts; in the case of Pharos Network, the data is temporarily marked as doubtful pending verification.
