People Finance News, April 7: As listed companies gradually disclose their 2025 annual reports, the profitability of listed securities firms has also become increasingly apparent. According to Wind data, as of April 6, a total of 29 listed securities firms, or their parent companies, have disclosed their 2025 annual reports, accounting for nearly 60% of all listed securities firms. The net profit attributable to shareholders all achieved positive year-over-year growth. Among them, the net profit attributable to shareholders of eight listed securities firms exceeded 10 billion yuan. Of these, CITIC Securities’ net profit attributable to shareholders exceeded 30 billion yuan. Judging from the performance of their main businesses, driven by the upward market trend and active trading activity in 2025, both securities brokerage business and proprietary trading business revenues have achieved high growth, becoming the main drivers of overall performance growth. In addition, the investment banking business revenues of some securities firms also recorded high growth. Analysts believe that in 2025, domestic capital market trading activity continued to improve, equity market sentiment gradually recovered, and this has driven comprehensive improvement across brokers’ core business segments.
