Reporters learned that starting from 1 April, some home appliance companies have raised the supply prices of certain model products such as televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines, with increases ranging from 2% to 10%; the increases for major kitchen appliances such as range hoods and stoves are even around 10% to 20%. Because retailers are still selling inventory at present, the “feel” of price increases at the end-user retail level is not yet obvious; it is expected to gradually become apparent during this month.
