China News Network, Beijing, March 29 (reporter Xu Jing) On March 28, the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum annual conference parallel session—Beijing International Youth Innovation and Development Forum—was held. At the event, the 2025 Zhongguancun U30 winner list was released, and the recruitment and selection work for the 2026 Zhongguancun U30 was launched.

At the forum site, Zhongguancun U30 initiator representative and Yao Hao, CEO of Legend Holdings, officially released the 2025 Zhongguancun U30 winner list. Thirty young entrepreneurs who have been deeply involved in cutting-edge fields were selected for the list. The winners exhibit distinctive traits of a high starting point, hard-core technology, and rapid growth.

According to statistics, the average age of the 30 winners for 2025 is only 29, with the youngest being 21, showing the vigorous vitality of the youth group. The educational attainment advantages are significant: there are 23 people with a master’s degree or above, including 12 doctoral degree holders. They graduated from top universities at home and abroad. Most of them studied under academicians or internationally authoritative scholars in relevant fields. During their time in school, they participated in national-level key projects, hold multiple patents, and have solid technical reserves and strong innovation capabilities.

In terms of enterprise development, the companies where the 25 winners are located have completed one round of financing or more, with the highest being six rounds. These companies have broadly laid out future industries such as artificial intelligence and humanoid robots, emerging industries such as life and health and biomedicine, as well as key areas such as the digital economy and cultural and creative industries. They have made breakthroughs and taken leading positions in their respective sub-segments, cumulatively providing nearly 1,000 employment positions for society, injecting youthful momentum into industrial upgrading and economic development.

Certificates were presented on-site to the 30 winners, and together with the winners, the 2026 Zhongguancun U30 recruitment and selection work was jointly launched. A new round of discovering and empowering young innovation forces has officially kicked off.

The 2026 Zhongguancun U30 will continue to focus on the layout of high-end, high-precision, and advanced industries, tightly aligning with the development needs of new quality productive forces. It will重点 focus on youth innovation and entrepreneurship groups under 35 years old, and select young “wall-breakers” with outstanding innovation ability, hard-core technological strength, and a breakthrough spirit, centered around seven major areas including future industries, strategic emerging industries, and the digital economy.

To help those selected grow quickly, the platform will provide multi-dimensional, end-to-end empowerment and support, including promotion of Beijing subway and bus advertising resources, customized entrepreneurship training by leading investment institutions, targeted recommendations from communities of outstanding young entrepreneurs, etc. At the same time, it will preferentially recommend selected individuals to join high-quality platforms such as the Beijing Youth Federation and the Haidian District Youth Federation, providing full-process guidance for the growth and success of young entrepreneurs.

The Zhongguancun U30 program was initiated in Haidian in 2015 by the China Association for Science and Technology Science and Technology Communication Center, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Talent, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park Management Committee, and the People’s Government of Haidian District, all of which jointly host it.
