People’s Finance News, March 31 — To further standardize the management of compulsory product certification (hereinafter referred to as CCC certification) institutions and laboratories, and to ensure that the compulsory product certification system is implemented uniformly and strictly, the State Administration for Market Regulation has organized the drafting of the “Administrative Measures for Compulsory Product Certification Institutions and Laboratories (Revised Draft for Soliciting Public Comments)” and its explanatory statement, and is now publicly soliciting comments from society. The revision to the Measures includes raising the entry threshold and optimizing designated conditions and procedures. By setting the standards for institution admission more strictly, the requirement for work experience for designated institutions has been adjusted from “2 years or 20 certificates” to “2 years and 20 certificates,” and the review period for adverse records has been extended from the 6 months before the application to 1 year, thereby improving designated institutions’ professional competence and compliance level from the source. Optimize the designated procedures, remove statements that lack practical applicability, and clarify that the time for soliciting opinions does not count toward the processing time limit.
