Phoenix News Technology, March 31: Bilibili’s official announcement said that starting from 00:00 on April 1, B站 will remove the “猜你喜欢” algorithm, no longer recommending homepage content based on users’ preferences, and will launch a new recommendation algorithm.

It is understood that Bilibili’s 2025 fourth-quarter and full-year financial reports mentioned that in 2026, B站 will officially launch AI-assisted creation tools, which will alleviate to some extent the dilemma of insufficient high-quality content production capacity.

At the same time, AI technology is also reshaping the content distribution system. In the past, long and medium video platforms found it difficult to precisely match users’ content needs, and it was also difficult to discover high-quality content early on; however, AI-enhanced content understanding technology can deeply analyze video content and precisely match users’ viewing needs, allowing high-quality content to reach target users faster and more accurately.

In addition, AI can identify high-quality content and potential UP主 earlier through data such as user interactions, danmaku, comments, etc., provide more traffic support, and form a virtuous cycle of “quality support, user growth, and incentivizing creation.”
