Odaily Planet Daily News: The former a16z crypto investor Sam Broner announced that he, together with his longtime college friend Adam Zuckerman, co-founded The Better Money Company, and has completed a $10 million seed round. a16z crypto led the round, with BoxGroup and Sunflower Capital participating. Angel investors including Circle co-founder Sean Neville and former Microsoft executive Charlie Songhurst also joined. The company aims to build a stablecoin clearinghouse, providing customers with low-cost exchange services for different USD-pegged tokens.

Broner previously worked at a16z crypto for more than two years, focusing on investments in the stablecoin space. Zuckerman worked at the law firm Latham & Watkins, and later served as Chief Legal Counsel at Eigen Labs. The two founded the company in November last year. The company has already received commitment from multiple issuers including Paxos, Bridge, a subsidiary of Stripe, and MoonPay. It plans to support all tokens that meet the Genius Act that has been signed and is effective, but not including USDT; its U.S. version USAT is unaffected. The product has not yet publicly launched and is expected to be made available to customers within the coming weeks.
