After decluttering, I am determined not to hoard these 6 items anymore, all of which are caused by poor families!

Especially for us Chinese, thrift and frugality are deeply ingrained. There are always things at home that we are reluctant to throw away. This one we can’t bear to part with, that one we can’t bear to part with, and in the end, the house ends up messy, and we still have to throw things away.

First, all kinds of bags.

After using them once, they seem clean, and we are reluctant to throw them away. The more we hoard, the more we have.

Second, various promotional freebies. For example, when buying instant noodles, they give you a bowl. In fact, these bowls are all defective products, and when you take them home, they basically won’t be used much.

Third, all kinds of bowls. Especially some fruit bowls, some have a hole at the bottom, thinking they can save money, we bring them home for washing vegetables and rice, and every time we use them, we are reluctant to throw them away. We end up hoarding several.

Fourth, disposable takeout containers, some look quite nice, thinking of planting some succulents or green plants, but in reality, it never works out, and they just keep piling up.

Fifth, various snacks and canned jars. When hoarding, we think they will be useful, but when we actually use them, we feel that the sealing is not good, or they are not the right size, and they end up collecting dust.

Sixth, all kinds of data cables. There are many that are already outdated, like Android phone charging cables, the connectors don’t match with the current ones. Today, while cleaning, I found more than a dozen in the drawer, some even had peeling and were broken.

These items need to be cleaned up quickly; otherwise, they will take up space. For those who can organize and tidy up, it’s somewhat better, but for those who can’t, it just makes the home look messy. I am determined not to hoard these things anymore. It’s all the fault of poverty. In order to save money, being reluctant to throw this and that away has not made my family wealthier because of my various hoarding. Don’t you think? Are there others with the same experience?
