This is another important breakthrough for the company in the field of green low-carbon transformation, following the commissioning of the first phase 6 megawatt distributed photovoltaic project, marking that Dong’an Power’s “photovoltaic + industrial” integration development layout continues to deepen and solidify.

It is reported that the second phase project fully utilizes about 60,000 square meters of idle space on the factory roof to install photovoltaic components, with an installed capacity of 5.22 megawatts, and an expected annual power generation of up to 6.3 million kilowatt-hours. After the project operates in coordination with the first phase, it will form a large-scale green energy supply system, saving about 4,400 tons of standard coal annually, saving about 3.5 million yuan in electricity costs, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 14,500 tons, with significant environmental and economic benefits.

In terms of technical configuration, the project uses 8,221 Jinko Solar monocrystalline glass photovoltaic components, equipped with 31 string inverters from Sungrow Power Supply, connected to the factory distribution room bus through 12 routes of 380 volts, achieving complete self-consumption of electricity without being connected to the grid, effectively improving the self-sufficiency rate of clean energy in the factory. In terms of safety assurance, the project adopts the mature plan of the first phase, equipped with inverter soft start technology, anti-islanding function, and “fast disconnection” anti-reverse flow protection device, which can quickly disconnect faulty circuits and fully protect system operation and personnel equipment safety.

In order to ensure the long-term stable operation of the power station, Dong’an Power will also establish a professional operation and maintenance team, build a full-cycle operation and maintenance management system, carry out regular work such as equipment status monitoring, intelligent data analysis, component cleaning and maintenance, and winter snow clearing, to improve power generation efficiency through standardized operations and refined management.

Previously, the first phase of the Dong’an Power photovoltaic project has shown significant results, saving 743 tons of standard coal through photovoltaic power generation by 2025, and the factory’s power consumption decreased by 6.23% year-on-year. In addition to the photovoltaic project, the company is simultaneously promoting centralized control in the factory area, reducing thermal energy consumption by 34.67%; implementing dynamic regulation of gas heating, reducing energy consumption by 20.73%. Compared with 2020, the comprehensive energy consumption per ten thousand yuan output value decreased by 28.26%, and the carbon dioxide emissions per ten thousand yuan output value decreased by 18.05%, successfully completing the energy conservation and carbon reduction targets for the 14th Five-Year Plan.

In the future, Dong’an Power will continue to deepen its green development strategy, focusing on photovoltaic projects as the core, exploring new scenarios for clean energy applications, and helping the country achieve its “dual carbon” goals effectively.
