Sources reveal that Apple has offered special bonuses worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to several members of the iPhone product design team, which are issued in stock and paid over four years, meaning employees must stay at Apple to receive the full amount. This is a common equity compensation scheme at Apple, where these rewards often range from approximately $200,000 to $400,000.
