People’s Financial News, March 26 — The General Office of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and the General Office of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government issued the “2026 Action Plan for Promoting the Coordinated Development of Manufacturing and Service Industries in Guangdong Province.” The plan proposes to promote cost reduction and efficiency improvement in logistics. It supports logistics companies and manufacturing enterprises in jointly building supply chain collaboration platforms, developing new service models such as supply chain inventory management, just-in-time delivery, and production line logistics. It accelerates the construction of national logistics hubs for production services in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, and Dongguan, and strives to create national logistics hub economic zones. It promotes access for industrial parks, mining enterprises, and other industries with an annual throughput of over 1.5 million tons to dedicated railway lines, and deepens the implementation of “one order system” and “one container system.” It enhances the integration of postal express delivery with manufacturing, and promotes dynamic updates of express delivery service manufacturing project databases. By the end of 2026, it aims to cultivate 200 express delivery service manufacturing projects and reduce the ratio of total social logistics costs to regional GDP to 13.5%.
