Gate Will Not Support Kroma (KRO) Token Swap and Will Delist the Trading Market

We have received notice from the Kroma (KRO) team that the KRO token will soon be swapped for a new Candy (CANDY) token. Please note that Gate will not support the automatic token swap. Users are required to complete the token swap via the designated channel provided by the KRO team. As of now, the KRO team has not released the specific swap instructions or procedures. Please follow the official announcements from the KRO team for accurate information. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by not providing a seamless swap service. Given the nature of this swap, we strongly advise users to withdraw your KRO tokens to your personal wallet and complete the swap independently before the deadline specified by the KRO team to avoid any potential losses.

Gate will take the following steps:

1. Gate has suspended deposits for Kroma (KRO).
2. Gate will delist the Kroma (KRO) trading market at 03:00 on June 9, 2025 UTC, including the KRO/USDT spot trading pair and quantitative grid trading.
3. If you have any active quantitative trading strategies involving KRO, please adjust them in advance. Otherwise, they will be forcibly terminated at 03:00 on June 9, 2025 UTC.
4. After delisting the KRO trading market, if users do not wish to participate in the buyback, please make sure to withdraw your tokens promptly and complete the token swap through the channels designated by the KRO team to avoid any loss.
5. Users who still hold Kroma (KRO) on Gate after June 22, 2025 may submit a form to apply for a buyback. Gate will buy back KRO tokens at a price of 0.0008996 USDT, with a maximum compensation cap of 100 USDT per user.
6. Users should complete and submit the form between 16:00 on June 22, 2025 UTC to 16:00 on June 29, 2025 UTC.
