Gate News bot news, gold loyalist and anti-encryption advocate Peter Schiff admitted in a recent X post his biggest regret about Bitcoin: "I regret not buying it when I first learned about it," he said, indicating that his stance is shifting, although he remains cautious about the future of Bitcoin.
Schiff's remarks are in response to the surge of Bitcoin prices above $110,000. Bitcoin evangelist Max Keiser pointed out that he had suggested Schiff buy Bitcoin at much lower prices, including $1, $10, $100, and even $10,000.
He expressed his views on Schiff's decision to reject BTC without any concealment, calling him the "WORST MONEY MANAGER EVER!" and mocking Schiff's decision to open a bank in Puerto Rico.
However, despite Schiff's regrets about not investing in Bitcoin earlier, he still insists that gold is a more stable and reliable asset, and that Bitcoin's volatility makes it an unreliable store of value compared to gold.
