Chongqing Municipal People's Government issued the "Action Plan for Enhancing the Development Capacity of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle (2026–2030)". It proposes to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system led by advanced manufacturing and supported by producer services, driving the "Four Sides" coordination and promoting the integration of the "Four Chains" with the new model of "Industrial Brain + Future Factory", iterating the "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system, forming a highly agglomerated, efficiently divided, and highly open regional industrial ecosystem in the Chengdu-Chongqing area. By 2030, the added value of above-scale industrial enterprises in Chongqing is expected to grow at an average annual rate of about 6%, and the added value of producer services will account for about 60% of the total service industry added value.
