Simple Earn Funds as Unified Account Margin

Feature Overview

In Single-Currency Margin Mode, Multi-Currency Margin Mode, and Portfolio Margin Mode, users can enable Simple Earn flexible subscriptions as margin in the Unified Account. By integrating Simple Earn flexible investment with the Unified Account margin system, this feature allows your idle funds to be fully utilized, providing additional margin protection for your trading account and further reducing liquidation risk.

Applicability of Simple Earn Funds as Margin:

• Single-Currency Margin Mode supports USDT Simple Earn flexible subscriptions as margin.
• Multi-Currency Margin Mode allows Simple Earn flexible subscriptions in the selected available margin coins to be used as margin. (If no margin coin scope is set, all supported coins are used as margin by default.)
• Portfolio Margin Mode supports Simple Earn flexible subscriptions of all coins as margin.

After enabling Simple Earn Funds as Margin:

• Once enabled, your Simple Earn flexible subscriptions (including those in redemption) will be directly added to the coin balance, and included in the margin balance based on their USD value calculated by discount rates.
• Once enabled, this function can only be disabled when the estimated IMR of the Unified Account exceeds 200%.
• If liquidation is triggered in Unified Account while this function is enabled, Simple Earn flexible subscriptions will be automatically redeemed to repay the outstanding loan.

Notes:

• If Simple Earn Funds as Margin is enabled in any mode, the setting will remain enabled when switching to other modes (except for the Classic Spot Mode).
• When switching to Classic Spot Mode, Simple Earn Funds as Margin will be disabled by default.
• Changes in Simple Earn flexible subscriptions, or disabling Simple Earn Funds as Margin due to activating Auto-Earn for any coin, may affect total margin and the Initial Margin Ratio (IMR). If you hold derivative positions, liquidation could be triggered in Unified Account. Please closely monitor your position status and manage risks accordingly.

Enable Simple Earn Funds as Margin:

1. Before enabling the function, you can preview the estimated changes in margin balance and IMR after Simple Earn flexible subscriptions are included as margin.

2. After enabling the function, the additional margin amount contributed by Simple Earn will be displayed in the Simple Earn description on the Assets page.

3. The function cannot be enabled if your Unified Account is currently under liquidation.

Disable Simple Earn Funds as Margin

1. Before disabling the function, you can preview the estimated changes in margin balance and IMR after disabling.

2. If the estimated IMR in Unified Account falls to 200% or below after disabling, the system will temporarily prohibit disabling Simple Earn Funds as Margin for risk control purposes. You may close positions or cancel open orders to raise the IMR above 200%, and then try again.

3. The function cannot be disabled if your Unified Account is currently under liquidation.
