The UK government released a new round of Russian sanctions list on May 26, placing GLOBAL S.A. on the sanctions list, which has been renamed to the relevant entity, on the grounds of its suspected provision of financial services, funds, or economic resources to A7 LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY. This sanctions is part of the UK's efforts to combat Russia's sanctions evasion network, targeting also include crypto trading platforms, banks, and related enterprises such as Garantex Europe OU. According to Elliptic, this is the UK's first time imposing such sanctions on a crypto exchange under relevant regulations.
