To put it simply, de-pegging is often not a balance sheet issue, but a panic run caused by a bank run mentality—everyone simultaneously requests withdrawals, and even a little less transparency makes everyone more anxious. I also glance at reserve reports, but after reading them, I just feel at ease; when rumors start flying, people's hands move faster than their brains.

Lately, hardware wallets have been out of stock, which is a pretty real indicator of sentiment; phishing links are also on the rise, and the more chaotic it gets, the more people take advantage of the chaos. Anyway, my current habit is: wait for confirmation first, then click links, then transfer large amounts. If it’s slow, so be it—at least I won’t send myself away out of haste. That’s it for now.
