What is the Gate Select Zone?

The Gate Select Zone is an exclusive filter and trading area in the P2P marketplace designed for verified, KYC-bound transactions, applicable solely to RUB trading at this stage.

• Anti-Fraud Enforcement
  This zone strictly requires that the payment or receiving account name used by both the buyer and the seller exactly matches their KYC-verified identity on Gate.
• Zero Third-Party Payments
  By completely prohibiting third-party deposits and collections, this feature effectively neutralizes Triangulation Fraud —a method where malicious actors exploit information gaps to trick innocent victims into sending fiat directly to legitimate merchants, often resulting in bank card freezes for honest traders.

How to Filter and View "Gate Select Zone" Ads as Buyers

• The "Gate Select" Switch:
  You can find the new filter switch on the right side of the fiat currency selection bar in the P2P marketplace ( visible only when RUB is selected ). Turning on this switch dynamically filters the ad list to display only advertisements with the Gate Select Zone attribute.

  

• All Gate Select Zone ads feature a prominent badge next to the merchant's avatar. You can find this badge in the ad marketplace, chat sharing lists, recently viewed history, and merchant homepages.
  Hovering over the badge displays a verification tooltip:
  "Verified Gate Select Zone Ad. The merchant strictly adheres to trading using their own verified account."

Guidelines for P2P Merchants (Posting Ads in RUB Market)

To post advertisements in the RUB Gate Select Zone, please follow the steps:

Ad Configuration

• To maintain high quality and liquidity focus, each merchant can maintain a maximum of:

  • one (1) active Gate Select Zone buy ad and one (1) active Gate Select Zone sell ad at any given time.
    

• When selecting the "Gate Select Zone" mode to publish an ad, you can customize where your ad is seen:

  • Main Market & Gate Select Zone: Simultaneously visible to all standard users and filtered users.
  • Gate Select Zone Only: Only visible to users who have turned on the filter switch.
    

• Editing Rules for Gate Select Zone Ads
  Once a Gate Select Zone advertisement is published, certain parameters are restricted to prevent unauthorized alterations to the order type:

  • Modifiable Parameters (No Re-approval Needed)

    • You can freely edit the price, price type, total quantity, order limits (minimum/maximum order amounts), and user filtering settings (e.g., KYC level, registration days, completion rates, or region restrictions).

  • Locked Parameters (Cannot Be Edited):

    • Once published, you cannot change the Payment Method, Ad Posting Mode (switching between standard and White Zone), Visibility Settings, Trading Terms, or Auto-Reply messages.

Tip: If an ad is categorized as a Gate Select Zone Order, it cannot be restructured or converted back on the standard ad modification page.

Prohibited Ad Combinations

The Gate Select Zone mode cannot be combined with other promotional or specialized ad types:

• Selecting "Gate Select Zone" automatically hides options for promotional ad types, such as New User Discounts or Selected Specials.
• Private Ads (Private Orders) and Team Merchant Ads are not supported under the Gate Select Zone mode and their respective settings will be hidden during configuration.
