Recently, people keep asking me: why does on-chain data always "pause" for a moment, is someone front-running?

Actually, many times it's not as conspiratorial as it seems…
Indexers/Subgraphs are like creating a directory for this huge thick book of blockchain, you can look up quickly, but synchronization takes time;
RPC is more like calling the front desk, when too many people ask, it limits the flow, so your screen just shows loading, missing a few transactions, giving the feeling of "just there, now gone."
So when I see large transfers or hot wallets moving on exchanges, I usually wait first, don’t jump to conclusions, data might just be congestion.
The same goes for trading, use "practice" to remind yourself: today practice not chasing emotions, do it again tomorrow…
Anyway, I often get carried away while practicing, but at least I know I’m carried away.
