1.What is GT Staking?
GT Staking refers to participating in the Gate blockchain's Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism through GT staking. By staking their GT, holders help secure the network and earn rewards.
Gate simplifies this process by offering a node-running service that allows users to start staking with as little as 1 GT, reducing the entry barrier. When you stake GT through Gate, you'll receive GT2, which represents your staked GT and the rewards you earn.
2.GT Staking Rules
GT Staking is available from 00:00 to 23:59 (UTC) each day. Rewards are distributed on the day following staking (D+1) at a rate of 1 GT = 1 GT2. The minimum amount for each staking transaction is 1 GT.
3.GT Redemption Rules
GT2 holders can redeem their GT2 for GT at a rate of 1 GT = 1 GT2. Once you request redemption, both the principal and any earned rewards will be credited immediately.
Note that there is a 24-hour limit on redemptions, with a maximum of 1,000,000 GT available for redemption within this period.
