Retail investor: I looked into portfolio secured puts & my broker's platform literally labels them "naked puts." NAKED. That word alone tells me everything.
Me: Ok. What does the word "secured" mean to you?
Retail investor: Money backing the promise. Which naked doesn't have... hence the name.
Me: Look at this chart. That's part of my collateral. $Q + $VOO + Elite companies... $Q alone did 28% over the past year, sitting in my account, sellable in 2 seconds, backing every single put I sell. Does that look naked to you?
Retail investor: I mean... it's not CASH though.
Me: It's better than cash.

55 years ago today, the dollar’s link to gold was cut.
Nixon called it a “temporary” suspension.
It never came back.
Gold was around $35 an ounce in 1971.
Today, it’s above $4,300.
The temporary solution became the foundation of the modern monetary system.#GateLaunchpool141MDOS

I recently reviewed the VPNs I’ve used so far. Among the few with budgets/scales under 10 million, some have indeed performed well. I recommend keeping several on hand so you can switch at any time when connection routes fluctuate. You can also try @driftvpn; it uses a proprietary protocol.

#BitcoinTrendReversalSignalEmerges Bitcoin Trend Reversal Signal Emerges
Bitcoin may be entering an important turning point as market structure begins to show early signs of a potential trend reversal. After a period of volatility and uncertainty, traders are now watching closely for confirmation that BTC could shift from bearish pressure toward a stronger bullish phase. 📈
The key factor now is confirmation. Bitcoin needs to reclaim important resistance levels with strong trading volume and maintain higher lows on the lower timeframes. If buyers continue to step in on dips and selling pressu

In today’s market, even 5x or 10x gains are considered rare, while 100x and 1,000x gains have almost become a thing of the past. After the inscription boom passed, the old models clearly stopped working, and the overall environment turned cold. Everyone is waiting for something genuinely new.
But whenever I think back to when DOGE was worth just a few cents, nobody paid it any attention. Then it later rose to a staggering height. Those stories remind me that when something new first appears, it is often the most inconspicuous—and the most worth taking a closer look at.

Large BTC and ETH Options Expiry Centers on $64,000 Max Pain
than $1.4 billion in Bitcoin and Ethereum options are going to expire today. Bitcoins max-pain level is at $64,000; Ethereums is at $1,900. Expiries of this size often cause short-term volatility as dealers change hedges and traders roll or close positions. The immediate question is whether Bitcoin can stay near the $64,000 level through the settlement window.
Why Max Pain Matters Today
Max pain is the price at which the most options contracts would become worthless which means the option writers pay out the least. When there is a lot of interest close to a round number like $64,000 the price often moves toward that level in the last hours before expiry. The $1.4 billion notional makes this situation more important.
Current Chart Structure
On the Gate BTC/USDT 4-hour chart Bitcoin is at 63,350 just below the $64,000 max-pain reference. The 50-period moving average is above at 64,338. Bollinger bands have gotten tighter with the band near 63,060. RSI has dropped into the high-30s, which's a weak signal that leaves space for either a quick rise or more falling if support breaks. The MACD is still negative. The technical view shows a market that is staying under the options level with momentum still not strong.
Volatility Window
Big expiries don't decide the direction by themselves. They often make whatever movement is happening more intense. A strong move above 64,000 after the settlement would take away one source of near-term pressure. A clear drop below the bottom of the consolidation near 63,000–63,100 would allow for a stronger test of support. Either result can be made bigger by the hedging activities that come with the expiry.
Practical Framing
I see todays expiry as a short-term volatility event of a big change in the market. The amount of positions should match the level of uncertainty during the settlement time. The $64,000 level is the point of reference; how the price acts compared to it in the hours after the expiry is more important than the exact price at which the options settle.
Closing View
More than $1.4 billion in BTC and ETH options are expiring today with Bitcoin max pain at $64,000. Ethereum at $1,900. The Gate chart shows BTC staying near 63,350 with momentum signs. The flow of settlement can increase short-term changes in either direction. Whether Bitcoin can get back, to. Stay at 64,000 after the expiry is the main technical question.
How do you see BTC moving through this expiry time? Tell me your opinion.
This is my way of looking at the options data and the current chart setup. It is not a suggestion.

$ETH This is indeed a rather frustrating level. 👀There are buyers below 1,850, while sellers keep dumping above 1,900—1,950. It looks like something happens every day, but in reality, no clear direction has emerged yet.
📈 My conditions for being bullish are simple: I’ll only consider this breakout valid if price breaks above 1,940—1,950 on increased volume and holds after a retest, then I’ll look toward around 2,000. 📉 If the rebound is pushed back down by 1,900—1,950 again, or even falls below 1,850 and fails to reclaim it, I’ll continue to guard against it seeking support at 1,835 and 1,8

Gate Card is entering a new phase with what I see as a meaningful triple upgrade to the crypto-payment experience. The idea behind Gate Card is simple but powerful: instead of keeping crypto only inside an exchange account, users can use their digital assets for everyday payments around the world. Gate itself describes Gate Card as a product designed to let users use crypto for payments worldwide.
What makes the Triple Upgrade interesting to me is that it focuses on the areas that matter most for a payment card: convenience, transparency and security. For crypto users, these three factors can make the difference between simply holding digital assets and actually using them in daily life.
The first major improvement is the payment experience. Crypto payments have historically involved multiple steps, including moving funds between wallets, converting assets and dealing with complicated payment processes. A stronger card experience can make spending much more straightforward, allowing users to interact with crypto in a way that feels closer to traditional card payments.
The second important area is fee transparency. When people spend money, they want to understand exactly what they are paying. Clearer fee information helps users make better decisions and removes one of the biggest frustrations associated with financial products. I think this is particularly important for crypto because users already deal with network fees, exchange spreads and market volatility. A smoother card experience should make the total cost easier to understand.
The third area is security. For me, this is probably the most important part of any crypto payment product. Convenience means very little if users do not feel confident about protecting their funds and transactions. A mature crypto-card ecosystem needs strong account protection, transaction monitoring and responsible security practices.
What I like about the broader Gate Card direction is that it connects two worlds that have traditionally been separated: digital assets and everyday payments. Instead of thinking about crypto only as something to trade or hold, users can increasingly think about it as a financial asset that can also participate in real-world spending.
This is also where the wider Gate ecosystem becomes interesting. Gate has been expanding beyond traditional spot crypto trading into areas such as stocks, derivatives, TradFi products and payment services. Gate Card fits naturally into this broader strategy because it gives users another way to interact with the assets they already hold.
From my personal perspective, the biggest opportunity is convenience. If crypto is going to become part of mainstream finance, users should not have to understand complicated blockchain mechanics every time they want to make a purchase. The technology should become simpler in the background while the user experience becomes easier in the foreground.
I also think card adoption could become increasingly important as stablecoins and digital-dollar products become more widely used. A payment card connected to a crypto ecosystem can potentially provide a bridge between digital assets and traditional merchants without requiring the merchant to completely change its existing payment infrastructure.
My own experience with crypto has taught me that usability matters just as much as trading opportunities. We often focus on price charts, market cycles, APRs and new token launches, but the long-term growth of crypto also depends on whether ordinary users can actually use their assets easily.
That is why I see the Gate Card Triple Upgrade as more than a simple card update. It represents a broader shift toward making crypto more practical for everyday financial activity.
For me, the areas I would watch most closely are transaction speed, fee transparency, security controls, supported assets, geographic availability, spending limits and the overall user experience. These are the factors that will ultimately determine whether a crypto card becomes something users occasionally try or something they genuinely use every day.
My personal opinion is bullish on the concept, but I would still judge the upgrade through real-world usage rather than marketing headlines. The strongest proof will come from users who can consistently make payments smoothly, understand their costs clearly and feel confident about the security of their funds.
Crypto started as a new form of digital money. The next stage is making that digital money useful across more parts of everyday life.
Trading is one use case.
Saving and earning are another.
Payments could become one of the biggest.
That is why I am watching Gate Card closely. If the Triple Upgrade delivers a more convenient, transparent and secure payment experience, it could help push crypto one step closer to becoming an everyday financial tool rather than an asset people only interact with on an exchange.
For me, the real goal is simple: crypto should become easier to use, easier to understand and safer to spend.
Gate Card’s next chapter is therefore something I will be watching closely.

REGULATORY CLARITY COULD BECOME THE NEXT LAYER-1 CATALYST
The U.S. crypto market is watching the CLARITY Act closely, and the latest commentary from VanEck’s digital-assets research head Matthew Sigel adds an important angle: if the legislation eventually passes, Layer-1 tokens could experience what he described as an “enormous relief rally.” The key word is if the bill has not passed yet, so this remains a potential catalyst rather than a confirmed market event.
WHY THIS BILL MATTERS
The CLARITY Act is designed to establish a clearer regulatory framework for digital assets and clarify the re
