I recently happened to look at several historical cases of market manipulation. The first one I learned about was the Flash Crash in US stocks in 2010, where an operator sitting at home in a small town in the suburbs of London used Spoofing (placing a large number of fake orders and canceling them quickly) to cause the US stock market to drop 9% in a single day.
The second case I saw was Vanisa's GME Gamma Squeeze video - a great example. The more I watch it, the more I realize how terrifying the power of capital is. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens if Bitcoin stays stable at 75000 on 3.27.
