Techub News Reports: Lido's Community Staking Module (CSM) has released a new proposal to introduce "Identified DVT Clusters" (IDVTC), a new type of node operator that allows verified independent community stakers (ICS) to collaboratively run validators through DVT technology, enhancing operational resilience and capital efficiency. Since DVT significantly reduces the risk of major slashing and downtime, IDVTC members will enjoy lower collateral requirements. The proposal requires each IDVTC cluster to consist of 4 independent ICS members, must use either Obol or SSV to run validators, and create keys through distributed key generation. This feature is expected to launch with CSM v3 in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2026.
