Volatility King Trading Contest Season 2: Crypto Options × U.S. Stock Options
The campaign runs for four consecutive weeks. Each week, it features separate BTC, ETH, and U.S. stock options net-profit leaderboards and offers an additional reward to users who meet both the crypto options and U.S. stock options trading requirements.
How to Participate:
Users do not need to manually select a crypto group. Each week, their first BTC or ETH options trade determines their group: BTC options assigns them to the BTC group, while ETH options assigns them to the ETH group. The group cannot be changed that week and is determined again the following week.
Participation in the U.S. stock options leaderboard is independent and does not affect the user’s BTC or ETH group. Users may participate in the crypto options leaderboard, U.S. stock options leaderboard, and cross-market reward program simultaneously.
During the campaign, separate BTC, ETH, and U.S. stock options net-profit leaderboards will be set up each week. The top five eligible users on each leaderboard will receive the corresponding rewards.
- Crypto Options Leaderboard Eligibility: Reach a cumulative eligible premium trading volume of 100 USDT during the competition week
- Participate in the U.S. stock options leaderboard: Reach a cumulative eligible premium trading volume of 100 USDT during the competition week
- The user's net profit on the applicable leaderboard for the competition week must be greater than 0 to be eligible for ranking rewards.
- Weekly options net profit = realized options trading P&L for the week − corresponding trading fees
- The BTC and ETH net-profit leaderboards only include options net profit from the asset corresponding to each user's weekly group during the competition week.
- The U.S. stock options leaderboard combines the net profit from all U.S. stock options underlying assets.
- Unrealized P&L from open positions is not included in the competition week’s rankings

Trade both crypto options and U.S. stock options to share an additional 4,000 USDT reward pool each week!
During the campaign, users who meet the eligible trading requirements for both crypto options and U.S. stock options within the same competition week will equally share that week’s cross-market reward pool.
For example: If a user trades BTC options during the competition week and reaches cumulative premium trading volume of 120 USDT, while also trading NVDA options and reaching cumulative premium trading volume of 150 USDT, they meet the requirements for the cross-market reward and can share the 4,000 USDT reward pool for that week.

Event Rules
- Participants must click [Join Now] on this event page to register and complete identity verification to receive rewards.
- Rankings reset each week, and results from the previous week do not carry over. The same user can earn rewards from both the crypto options and U.S. stock options leaderboards.
- Rewards will be distributed in USDT and credited to users' accounts within 10 business days after each weekly event ends. Please check your Direct Messages for the notification.
- Bulk account registration, malicious volume manipulation, self-trading, wash trading, and other forms of cheating are strictly prohibited. Multiple accounts under the same verified user will be treated as a single account.
- Market maker, institutional, and affiliate accounts are not eligible for the reward pool.
- Deep out-of-the-money options trading volume does not count toward event statistics.
- Gate reserves the right to adjust the event rules, the prize pool, and the distribution method based on actual circumstances.
- In case of any discrepancy between the translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
