It then recommends appropriate strategies based on their inputs. This allows retail traders to easily express opinions through options without getting overwhelmed by complexity. Q3: How does the Request for ution (RFE) work, and what advantages does it offer over traditional RFQ s in terms of pricing efficiency and ution quality?
The RFE improves pricing over RFQ models. In RFQ, makers account for “stale quote” risk by widening spreads. RFE flips this - traders first request a reference quote, then privately ping makers with their set slippage tolerance to get updated, competitive final quotes. We ute against the best price within that tolerance range. This aligns incentives - makers face less risk so can quote tighter spreads, while traders get superior pricing.
