- Active Tier System: A dynamic performance-based tier system designed for verified Gate P2P merchants. It features three tiers—Bronze , Silver , and Gold—displayed to the right of the merchant badge. This system operates in parallel with existing qualification badges (e.g., Blue V, Aegis, Crown).
- Merchant Badge: The platform’s existing qualification badge (e.g., Blue V, Aegis, Crown), representing the merchant's qualification, order fulfillment capacity, and creditworthiness.
Tier Assessment Criteria & Benefits
Active tiers are evaluated based on the merchant's recent operational performance on the platform. Due to varying trading volumes across different fiat markets, assessment thresholds (such as trading volume requirements) are calculated independently for each fiat currency. Please refer to your merchant portal for specific requirements.

Tiers are evaluated based on the following four core operational metrics:
- 30-Day Cumulative Trading Volume (Calculated independently per fiat market)
- P2P Order Completion Rate
- Average Release Time (in minutes)
- Duration as a Verified Merchant (in days)

Assessment, Update & Status Change Rules
1. Evaluation & Badge Distribution Timeline
- Status Update Frequency: The assessment is automatically triggered daily at 00:00 (UTC+0), evaluating the merchant's actual performance data over the past 30 days. Upon meeting the criteria, active badges will be updated and assigned within 24 hours (before 02:00 UTC on the same day).
- Eligibility: Applicable only to currently active verified merchants. Exited merchants are excluded, and probation/trainee merchants are not supported.
2. Downgrade & Revocation Rules
- Dynamic Downgrade: Tiers adjust dynamically based on rolling data. If performance drops during an evaluation cycle, the system will automatically adjust the tier to the corresponding lower rank (e.g., Gold to Silver or Bronze).
- Expiration / Cancellation: If a merchant's verified status expires or is cancelled, their active tier and badge will be revoked immediately and hidden across all platform listings.
3. Multi-Fiat Market Logic
For merchants listing advertisements across multiple fiat markets, active tiers are evaluated independently for each currency:
- Display Rule: To maintain a strong merchant brand profile, the platform displays the highest active tier achieved across all supported fiat markets on the user-facing interface.
- Example: If a merchant operates in NGN, KES, and VND markets—achieving Silver in NGN, Gold in KES, and Bronze in VND—their profile will consistently display the Gold active badge across the platform.
Tips for Merchants: To optimize your active tier, maintain prompt customer communication, enable mobile app push notifications to shorten your Average Release Time, and set reasonable order conditions to maintain a high Completion Rate.
