Gate VIP/MM Fee Rate Upgrade and GT Holdings Cancellation Notice

In order to improve the rights of VIP users and market-makers，Gate has newly upgraded the VIP/MM program on July 15, 2022. Main adjustments in this upgrade include:

1. For trading users, simply evaluate your last 30-day trading volume and remove your GT holding requirement.
   
2. Gate uniformly adjusts VIP10-VIP16 to enjoy a 0% maker fee in spot and futures markets and independently sets up the MM system so that market makers can enjoy the best market maker rebates in the entire crypto market.
   
3. Market maker's maker fee is based on the MM tier, while the taker fee follows your VIP tier.
   
4. Gate adds a new MM tier to the spot market. Market maker fees are rebated up to 0.012%.
   
5. Reduced Taker fees for some VIP tiers.

   Note：

   1. There are 3 options for VIP upgrades: "30-day Trading Volume", "GT Holding", and "Total holdings". You can upgrade to a new VIP tier if you meet any of these options.

   2. 30-day trading volume = monthly spot trading volume + monthly futures trading volume *40%

   3. Gate has removed the GT holding requirement for all VIP trading users. The fee page on the Gate website has not yet been updated, so please check your Gate account for the actual VIP in effect.

   
   

   Market Maker

   Gate has launched the Market Maker Program. Based on your 30-day spot or futures maker volume % of exchange volume, or performance in providing liquidity to a specific "list of pairs", we will offer you a MM tier and you enjoy a higher rebate on the maker fee.

6. The MM tier only affects your Maker fee. Your Taker fee follows your VIP tier.
   
7. New market makers will be matched to the VIP and MM levels respectively under this new program. Existing Gate market makers will follow the old MM tier structure (which means that a MM tier will be equivalent to a VIP tier).
   
   
   

   VIP/MM Invitation

   Gate Users:

   1. If you have not met MM1 requirements, but have the last 30-day trading volumes of over 20,000,000 USD on the Gate Spot market, you can apply for a trial period of 2 weeks, where you will enjoy the MM1 maker fee rebates during this period.
