Wu Shuo learned that Commonware announced a joint launch of the Route 66 project with Coinbase and received strategic investment from Coinbase Ventures.

Route 66 aims to reduce the costs and time for wallets, exchanges, custodians, and data service providers to access new dedicated blockchains through standards, universal libraries, and shared tools.
Commonware stated that as on-chain applications and underlying blockchain boundaries become increasingly blurred, more projects are optimizing user experience through dedicated stablecoin space, customized execution rules, encrypted mempools, and secure random numbers, but frequent hard forks, new cryptography, complex transaction structures, and sub-second block times have also significantly increased the difficulty of infrastructure access.
