Wu Shuo learned that, according to the report from the San Francisco division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), three men are now facing multiple federal serious charges including kidnapping, robbery, and conspiracy for allegedly conducting cross-state serial violent robberies of cryptocurrency. The indictment states that the three are suspected of disguising themselves as delivery personnel to enter or attempt to enter the victims' residences, and using guns, tape, and zip ties to coerce victims into revealing their encrypted account information; in one incident, approximately 6.5 million dollars worth of crypto assets were transferred to a wallet controlled by the co-conspirator. All three are currently in federal custody, and the related charges are still pending court proceedings.
