Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau Secretary Sun Dongming departs tomorrow (10th) to visit Sweden and Finland, strengthening Hong Kong’s connections and cooperation with the two countries in fields such as innovation and technology, and examining local development experiences in industry-academia-research integration.
During the visit, Sun Dong will visit local universities and higher education institutions, research organizations, and innovation and technology facilities, and meet with relevant policy officials from the local government, innovation and technology organizations, and representatives of technology companies.
Sun Dong will return to Hong Kong on the afternoon of May 15. During his absence, Deputy Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Zhang Manli will act as the Secretary.
Additionally, Chief Secretary for Administration John Lee will depart tomorrow morning for Jiangxi to attend the launch ceremony of the series of exchange activities titled “Inheriting the Spirit of the Long March, Continuing the Red Bloodline” - Hong Kong and Macau Youth Re-walking the Long March route, held in Ruijin City on May 11.
John Lee will return to Hong Kong on the afternoon of May 11. During his absence, Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration Cheuk Wing-hing will assume the duties of the Chief Secretary for Administration.
