Presidente de la SEC de EE. UU.: Proporcionará una regulación más clara para los valores en cadena y los activos digitales

Golden Finance reports that on May 29th, the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Paul Atkins, delivered a speech in which he stated that the agency is advancing "SEC New Era" regulatory reforms, focusing on modernizing digital asset regulation, promoting the development of on-chain capital markets, and supporting the U.S. in becoming a global crypto hub. Recently, it has clarified which digital assets are securities and which are not, and is pushing forward an innovative exemption mechanism for "tokenized listed securities," while also studying how on-chain trading systems can be integrated into the existing regulatory framework.
Additionally, Paul Atkins emphasized that the SEC will reduce "over-disclosure" and regulatory burdens, promote the "Make IPOs Great Again" reform, including lowering compliance costs for listed companies, increasing IPO flexibility, and officially proposing to revoke the climate disclosure rules introduced during the previous government era.
