La tasa de cambio del rial iraní ha caído a un mínimo histórico

According to the Iranian Students’ News Agency on the 29th, the exchange rate of the Iranian rial against the US dollar has fallen to a record low, with the current rate surpassing 1 USD to 1.81 million rials. The report states that on that day, the rial’s exchange rate against the dollar accelerated its downward trend that began two days ago, dropping more than 230,000 rials. The report also says that, 60 days since the outbreak of conflict in Iran, the domestic market remains relatively stable, but the rial continues to depreciate significantly. The main reason for the rial’s depreciation is the increased demand for major foreign currencies within Iran. The report further mentions that the rial is also depreciating against the euro.
