Gate Launched Sub-account Feature

To provide a more convenient way for users to manage the assets, Gate has launched the “Sub-account” feature. Users can create several sub-accounts to invest and manage assets through the current account (hereinafter referred to as Master account). Currently, this feature is only open to VIP5 or VIP5+.



Instructions

Ⅰ. VIP5-VIP9 is allowed to create up to 5 Sub-accounts; VIP10-VIP16 is allowed to create up to 10 Sub-accounts.

Ⅱ. The Sub-accounts enjoy the same discount and VIP level as the Master account.

Ⅲ. The Sub-accounts inherit the same upgrading rules of the VIP level as the Master account.

Ⅳ. To guarantee the security of the Master account, the funds of the sub-account are only allowed to be transferred to the Master account or be transferred from the Master account to the sub-account.

Ⅴ. The Sub-account is not allowed to use:

C2C fiat trading

Fiat lending

Withdrawal (withdrawing digital assets to the wallet)

Gatecode

POINT transfer

Ⅵ. The Sub-account can be frozen to ban the trading through the Master account (taking effect after 3 minutes). During the frozen state, the Sub-account is not able to be traded through either logging onto the web or by the API provided by the official site.

Users who attempt to create a Sub-account can go into “Account Setting” – “My Funds” – “Security Settings” (on the lefts side of the interface) – “sub-account management” or directly visit https://www.gate.com/myaccount/sub_account_manage.
