How far along is the bear market?
The first US spot Bitcoin ETF is set to close and liquidate: the Hashdex Bitcoin ETF (ticker $DEFI ) will stop trading on August 17.
It manages $14.7 million in assets, compared with the $47.08 billion in net assets held by BlackRock’s IBIT.
Its management fee revenue for the entire quarter was $6,453, or just over $25k for the year— not enough to pay even one fund manager’s salary in the US.
To be honest, the ticker itself is also an ominous choice. DeFi? If you don’t go bankrupt, who will? 🤣

TUT is back up, at 0.0293, once again right around 0.03.
Five hours ago, it dropped to 0.0274. I said 0.025 would hold and that it would head back up after the pullback. This time, it has climbed back along the same path.
This is the second attempt at 0.03. It failed to hold after reaching it the first time and has already gone through one round of selling pressure, so it will probably break through this time.
The entire supply is circulating, with no locked tokens overhead waiting to be unlocked and weighing on the price. Once it breaks 0.03, there will be less resistance above.
