Watching the charts until I got fed up, I actually saw things more clearly after turning them off; with my eyes no longer glued to them, my heart stopped panicking. A few days ago before bed, $TUT had strong bull-trap vibes—the brief upward push quickly lost steam, volume didn’t follow, and at that level I flagged a short to watch first, not chase.

From 0.034866 down to 0.020447, the short gained +410.25%—staying up wasn’t for nothing, and this profit felt great. Bank 80% first, set a protection level for the remaining 20%, and let profits run if the sell-off continues; don’t give them back

$SOL Signal】Short + 4H bearish histogram expansion, snipe the rebound
$SOL RSI 1H 39.02, price remains below EMA20/50, and the 4H MACD bearish histogram continues to expand.
4H EMA20 100.9609 and EMA50 101.4574, with a clear rebound resistance zone. The 1H MACD bearish histogram is shortening, the buy ratio is 0.41, and the order book bid-ask ratio is 1.21, indicating low-level support, while overhead selling pressure remains. The Bollinger lower bands at 98.7025/98.9235 are the target zone for the short position.

$IOST Current price: 0.000752, down 5.05% over 24h, funding rate -0.0494%—shorts are paying to hold positions, but the price is already near the lower Bollinger Band at 0.000744, RSI is at 41 without breaking below 30, and the MA5 and MA20 are both exerting pressure. Negative funding rate + Greed Index at 69 indicate crowded shorts rather than panic, with a relatively high risk of a wick sweeping shorts; bullish bias on a rebound.

The protection level hasn't broken, so I'll continue holding this trade. $BR The rebound into the key level zone earlier lacked sufficient support, and the key level failed to move higher, so I took a bearish position. After entering, there were pullbacks, but each was weaker than the last, indicating that selling pressure remains.

After unrealized profit reached +792.41%, I took profit on 80% first and let the remaining 20% run. As long as price does not reclaim the key level, the bearish structure remains; once it is reclaimed, the original thesis is invalidated, and I will close the remai

Retail investor: ...they do?
Me: Miss just the 10 best days over a couple decades & your returns get cut nearly in HALF... & those days cluster right in the middle of the panic you're running from.

After the short trade played out, I closed most of my $SOL position, with unrealized gains of +386.67%. This was not a matter of chasing shorts; after repeated resistance at the highs and a pullback following a false breakout, I confirmed the bearish bias. After entering, the rebound lacked volume and key levels were not reclaimed, so I held according to plan.

I took profit on 80% first and am trailing the remaining 20% with a protective level. As long as the prior low is broken and not quickly reclaimed, the downtrend can continue; if the key level is reclaimed, I will close the remaining

The CLARITY Act failing the 60-vote test is not just a political delay for crypto.
It tells me the market still has to trade inside uncertainty.
That is the real damage.
Builders don’t get clean rules. Exchanges don’t get a clear lane. Institutions don’t get the comfort they need to size in aggressively. And traders are left pricing headlines instead of structure.
For me, this is why the reaction matters more than the vote itself.
If BTC holds its range after this, the market is saying: “annoying delay, but not fatal.”
If BTC loses support with volume, then the failed vote becomes the excuse f

$SOL Signal】Short + 1H breakdown continuation
$SOL 1H breakdown continuation, RSI 28.26, order book buy/sell ratio 0.88, depth imbalance -6.48%.
The MACD 1H/4H histogram is expanding downward, with price running below the 4H Bollinger middle band at 100.685. The current price of 97.08 is near the 1H lower band at 97.4894. Bearish momentum is continuing, while rebound strength is weak. The 1.50 risk/reward ratio is acceptable; position sizing takes priority.

The CLARITY Act vote was happening, ETH was getting volatile, and I decided to trade the reaction instead of trying to predict the outcome.
I was watching ETH closely during the U.S. Senate voting because I expected the market to move quickly around the result. These are the moments where it’s very easy to enter late just because a candle is moving fast. I didn’t want to do that. I waited for ETH to give me a level where I could clearly define my trade.
When ETH reached around 2,387, I took an ETHUSDT short.
My target was 2,375 from the beginning. I used 200x leverage and al

The U.S. Senate will hold a key procedural vote on the CLARITY Act on September 15, requiring 60 votes to advance with Republicans holding 53 seats. Kalshi data shows the odds of passage this year have fallen to 25%, with ethics provisions and stablecoin yield still unresolved. What would advancing the bill mean for crypto markets?
