O voo da Cathay para Londres pode ter retornado a Hong Kong devido a uma avaria

Cathay Pacific Flight CX253, originally scheduled to fly to London Heathrow this afternoon, was found to have a possible mechanical fault after takeoff, and accordingly, it returned to Hong Kong International Airport following established procedures, safely landing at 15:12 that afternoon.

Cathay stated that the engineering team is inspecting the aircraft, and all affected passengers have been rebooked on another flight operated by a different aircraft; as the replacement flight is expected to depart later this evening, all passengers have been accommodated in a daytime hotel for a short rest.

The company pointed out that all decisions were made with the safety of customers and crew members as the top priority, and sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience caused to passengers by the incident, and sincerely thanks customers for their understanding and patience.
