Wu Shuo learned that the founder of Alliance DAO, Imran Khan, posted that the core advantage of building projects based on open ecosystems like Polymarket and Hyperliquid lies in their composability. Since core teams often can only prioritize mainstream businesses, this leaves a huge space for startups with deep domain expertise to explore on the edges, expand liquidity, and network effects. Imran revealed that in his current latest incubation batch, there are already three promising and exciting prediction market-related startup projects, including: the ETF project Ito Markets based on prediction markets, the prediction market options project Convallax, and the prediction market lending protocol Valkri Labs. He emphasized that if prediction markets grow into a major asset class in the future, a large part of the value creation will not occur at the exchange level, but rather in the derivatives built upon them.
