Just now, my phone popped up a red dot: “Testnet points +20,” and I got the itch to click in… But honestly, this isn’t just practice anymore; it’s driven by everyone’s default expectation that “the mainnet will issue tokens.” When expectations rise together, people tend to get heavier and heavier, start adding plus signs, multiple accounts, scripting, and eventually turn it into KPI chasing for themselves.

My own stop-loss is pretty simple: treat it as an internal product testing process, not as mining. For each testnet, I set a “spending limit”—the maximum time I’ll spend, the maximum number of accounts I’ll bind, the maximum amount of real assets I’ll put in (preferably zero). Once it starts affecting serious transactions/work, I’ll just delete notifications, turn off alerts, and deal with it the next day. Anyway, it’s normal that points aren’t cashed out; don’t let those numbers lead you around by the nose.
