Just received a bunch of red dot notifications on my phone: someone else is explaining today’s rise and fall with “ETF capital flow + US stock risk appetite”… alright, as long as they can make a convincing argument every time. Back to the main point, I think ordinary people using L2 shouldn’t worry about the “mainnet being the only legitimate” approach, saving gas is about the experience, fewer confirmations mean fewer mental breakdowns. My compromise is: for daily small, frequent operations, use L2; if it can be bundled into one transaction, don’t split it into ten; for long-term holding, large amounts, or contracts with messy permissions, it’s better to go back to the mainnet for a “final settlement.” Don’t put assets on a bunch of unfamiliar bridges and authorizations just to save a few bucks, only to end up losing it all. Being disciplined is boring, but it’s cheaper than catching up after FOMO.
