La Universidad de Harvard liquida su ETF de Ethereum, y el fondo soberano de Abu Dabi aumenta su participación en IBIT

Odaily Planet Daily reports that several sovereign wealth funds, universities, and traditional financial institutions recently disclosed their 13F holdings reports for the first quarter of 2026.

Among them, Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund Mubadala increased its holdings of BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT), from 12,702,300 shares to 14,721,900 shares, with new holdings worth over 90 million USD, bringing the total holding value close to 660 million USD. Its subsidiary, Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC), maintained its IBIT holdings at 8,218,700 shares, valued at approximately 315.8 million USD.

In terms of university funds, Harvard University’s endowment holds 3,044,600 shares of IBIT, worth about 117 million USD, a decrease of approximately 43% compared to the end of 2025. At the same time, Harvard has fully liquidated its previous quarter’s position in the BlackRock Ethereum spot ETF, valued at about 86.8 million USD.

Additionally, Dartmouth College maintained its IBIT holdings unchanged and disclosed for the first time that it holds approximately 304,800 shares of Bitwise Solana Staking ETF, valued at about 3.67 million USD, becoming one of the first university endowment funds to publicly allocate to Solana-related ETFs.

In the realm of traditional financial institutions, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Barclays, and others continue to increase or adjust their holdings of IBIT-related spot and options positions, while Hong Kong-based Laurore reduced its IBIT holdings from 8,786,300 shares to 6,846,300 shares.
